Before your appointment

Client forms

Every form is fillable: type right into the boxes and click the checkboxes on your computer, then print it or bring it on your phone. Prefer paper? Print it and fill it in by hand. Everyone needs the Client Information Sheet; the other two are only for rental owners and the self-employed.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Don’t see your question? Text us at (518) 291-1295 — we usually reply the same day.

How much does tax preparation cost?

It depends on the forms your situation requires. Simple individual returns start at $295. We’ll give you a price before we begin.

Can I file without coming to the office?

Yes. Upload your documents through our secure client portal, meet by phone, and sign electronically.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended, especially from February through April. Walk-ins are welcome when a preparer is available.

What if I can’t file by April 15?

We can file an extension, which gives you until October 15 to file. An extension doesn’t extend the time to pay, so we’ll help you estimate and pay what you owe by April.

Is my information secure?

Yes. We exchange documents through an encrypted client portal and never ask for Social Security numbers by email or text.

Are you open after tax season?

Yes. We’re open year-round for extensions, amended returns, bookkeeping, payroll and IRS notices.
